The Island Hall

Our island hall is open daily from 08:00-22:00 and boasts a wide range of facilities for visitors and islanders alike.
The main hall can be booked for badminton, table tennis, short mat bowls, football or volleyball. There are also yoga/pilates mats, gym mats, activity benches and soft play toys. We have a well equipped gym containing rowing machines, weights, cross trainers, spin bikes and reclining cycles.
Donations towards the upkeep of the building are gratefully received via the donations pot in the Reading Room.

Toilets
There is public access to the toilet facilities through the side door of the building.
The Reading Room
A small room which you are free to use with books, puzzles and games just inside the main door. (At times this room may be unavailable, please see the booking diary at the hall).

Prices and how to book

In the reading room there are booking diaries so that you can see when the hall and reading room are available. Feel free to pencil yourself in if you would like to use the facilities. ​To gain access you will need to pop along to Churchtown Farm (09:00-17:00) where you can pay for your time in the Island Hall and pick up your access code. 
​The prices are as follows and payments must be made in cash:

£2.50 per person
Sports Hall
1 Week
£10.00 (£5.00 for each additional week)
Sports Hall Family Membership
1 Week
£35.00
Gym Only
1 Week
£25.00 (£10.00 for each additional week)

Terms & Conditions

  • Proof of mainland gym membership MUST be supplied in order to use the gym facilities.
  • You must be over 18 to use the gym.
  • You must be over 14 to use the sports hall without direct adult supervision.
  • You will be required to sign a waiver form to use any of the sports hall or gym facilities.
