Thanks for helping - you're a star!
Please take note of the below and have a safe beach clean.
Emergency services can be called on 999, just like the mainland. Please note phone signal is patchy on the North side of the island.
If you need assistance (not an emergency) please contact the organisers:
Zoe – 07814695320 or Fay – 07788720452
Low water - 1:34pm High water - 7:29pm
Chose where you go carefully, don’t take risks that could lead to being cut off by the tide.
Know your limits – don’t take risks to access hard to reach places. Take great care on steep cliffs and be aware of slippery and uneven surfaces.
Be aware of the weather – avoid getting too wet, cold, hot or sunburnt.
Supervise children you have with you at all times.
Be careful about what you pick up – sometimes dangerous substances and items wash in or become uncovered. We strongly recommend wearing gloves. Be wary of liquid trapped in containers and sharp objects, if in doubt leave them.
If you suspect you have found explosives move well away, keep others away, and phone 999 immediately.
Just a few more things…
Please don’t add your rubbish to the little rubbish heaps sometimes found at the entrance to beaches. If you discover one of these mini rubbish dumps please fill your bag, this is not cheating it is a job well done!
If you find something too big to carry to the collection points. Please move it to a path and text Zoe or Fay (numbers above) to say where has been left.
Rubbish found in hedges and verges counts as beach rubbish if you want it to.
Collection
Please leave your collected rubbish in the clearly marked areas by 6pm. The collection points are marked by orange stars on the map below.
